Georgiou bridges the gap
Inception Time-lapse + Photography was commissioned by civil engineering and infrastructure giant Georgiou to document their latest bridge lift project.
Time-lapse was taken of the construction of a 33m single span prestressed bridge which spans over a Queensland Rail live overhead rail corridor. The Bridge is supported by in excess of 2500m2 of Reinforced Earth Wall Embankments. The Bridge Span lift and place process was conducted during a scheduled QR Track Closure and Isolation with the assistance of a 450t “super lift” mobile crane. While Qld Rail shut down a main line for maintenance, crane and bridge building teams worked efficiently on lifting the 27 separate beams precisely into place spanning directly over the rail line. All stages of the bridge and road have been executed to plan. Inception Time-Lapse captured all the action with 4 camera units, including some fantastic time-lapse dolly shots documenting this section of the build. The developer PEET Limited played the amazing final video at the estate launch by Minister for Housing and Small Business the Hon Brendan O’Connor MP since it was an Australian government funded project. I have been honoured to have the Queen of England, the Premier of Queensland and now the Minister for Housing and Small Business watch my videos as they launch landmark projects. Which famous person will my videos be onstage with next?…I will let you on a little secret its rumoured Jennifer Hawkins for Myer.:~) Nice.
