Leighton Contractors constructed the new $230 million Science and Technology Precinct for the Queensland University of Technology. “Scitech” – in the heart of the CBD Gardens Point campus, which is a state of the art facility containing 2 multi-story buildings and an underground 50 meter swimming pool.

Inception Time-lapse were right there along side them capturing every construction phase in FULL HD movie time-lapse. As well as the main camera capturing the entire project, extensive ground time lapse photography was  captured with the Robotic Dolly System. It adds a new perspective and high production value by enabling movie style dolly and crane movements, to any time-lapse movie sequence. Its seems very fitting that latest in time-lapse camera technology is being used to film the facility that will nurture intelligent new minds, to take us into the future.

The Science and Technology Precinct will transform our world at QUT by bringing together teaching and research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a world-leading model and dynamic environment. The precinct will become a hub for innovative teachings and learning’s on key areas such as climate change and global sustainability.
